Because when the seller realizes he or she is not going to have to pay 6% of the purchase price to an agent I can negotiate a lower price and the seller is more likely to agree.The process was simple with the guidance of a good real estate attorney.

It's a simple form and a few Docs that they require  prior to the fee request and Paying the fee obviously doesn't guarantee that they will approve the deal. 

Hey all,Recently got dual-citizenship (US citizen, obtained Mexican citizenship) and am planning on buying a home in Mexico as part-time STR.

They can purchase the parts online and install them themselves, or they can hire a professional and pay the bill.

Tenants been there 4 years paying the same way under market. 

Pay the mortgage, do the maintenance, find the tenants, sign the leases. 

I plan to build versus buy because Im currently working for my father, who is a general contractor in Fl, and will save on the construction costs because I can do most of the work for little cost other than materials. it would be minimum labor cost and no profit cost from contractor.

I plan on doing this myself.Any advice from those who have been down this road would be greatly appreciated!

My question is when the three years are up is there a way for me to “refinance the house into my name based of off the equity instead of having to qualify based on my income and pay the owner off”.
