@Ben Satterfield @Grant Rothenburger Full disclosure, I work with an asset protection organization, but I hear that "probably only worth it for big investors" rhetoric a lot, and I think LLC's are surprisingly affordable if you get the right services(comparable to insurance).

Many here will object to that, but....it can lead to a good deal on a lower commission property because the majority of agents don’t show that property, which leads to less competition....it has worked out well a couple of times for my clients.

I think one of the biggest problems I saw in folks' complaints, while working for an AMC, was undue influence via threats of complaints to the Appraisal board for no good reason or jamming objectively bad comparables down their throats and demanding they are used.
