@Steven MorrisYou should be careful about getting short term loans because they will change your Debt to income ratio and then you may not qualify for the actual purchase money loan to buy the property.

I've been pre qualified for a loan that would let me purchase a property in this price range (130 K) for a residential unit; but because the bottom level of the 4 plex is being used for commercial purposes, the loan I need will have to be for a commercial property.
