I came to Houston to be closer to family while my wife had our baby and I accepted a job in sales. 

Not a huge shark tank like Houston, where I've also lived.

I was pre-approved for $390k from Quicken Loans/ Rocket Mortgage, but after they reviewed all my finances they were only able to approve me for $290k (I have self-employment income that wasn't able to be counted as income, but it will be for CY18, which should means I should be approved for $350-380k).

I am a GC myself with a decent track record but I live near Houston 350 miles away, got a fair amount of work to do here.

I am reviewing a listing agreement from a broker to list a medical office space in Houston.

I have a remote job where I can move anywhere west of Houston TX.  

I am looking to purchase property (SFH/MFH) in Dallas or Houston TX and have had difficulty trying to find an and investor friendly agent in those areas.
