The problem is that the comps for the property are all over the place and when I placed my offer I was in a multiple offer situation.

Hey folks,Sorry for the rather broad discussion - I've got a bit of an odd situation right now which is rather time-sensitive, so I wanted to get this out sooner (even in a more broad & vague form) rather than later.I've decided to quit my relatively high paying job in the near future to travel for awhile (couple years, visiting home ever few months or so) and possibly even retire early.

@Ivan Nunez My recommendation for your situation is to start with wholesaling (double closing or assignment,) since you don't have to use your money or credit.

Buying right at decent prices with cash reserves and cash flow so you can wait is key.One thing I think its important to point out though is that no one says they will panic in a bad situation but thats so much easier said than done.

That's one of the concerns of my client.This is tough situation because this is my first deal.

So I’ll let you know what I know with the caveat that I’m not a lawyer, CPA, nor do I know your tax situation or how the syndications you are considering are structured.
