Now that we are in long term rentals, I am asking for your input of any group/organization with regular meet-ups you feel have been beneficial to your own personal/business growth.

The lease agreements the property managers use are not some generic form from a stationery store.

These listings aren't always advertised, so it's important that you check Craigslist regularly as well as drive through neighborhoods with For Sale signs.

Obviously, if you are getting a retirement payout or have regular annuity payments setup, those would be used as well. 

We call each other regularly and discuss things.

Most of the time it is not that difficult.My thought though is if you want to do this, you want to have your attorney check your lease.There are also likely some laws about what you need to do with the property...like store it in a safe and secure place, provide instructions on how to get it back, how fast you need to return it, etc.One problem I see with this, is a lot of the stuff that used to be valuable is now not all that valuable. 

I like to buy off the local classifieds first but when that's not an option, I go to the refurbished appliance store in my local town.  

So you have an air handler that looks like a regular forced air furnace and it has an evaporator coil in it that gets cold or hot depending on what the thermostat is requesting.
