HVAC system for a new STR
I'm looking to purchase a house in the Poconos for my first STR. The house is 1,900 sq ft, open space concept, and only has heat and ceiling fans with no ductwork.
I’m wondering what kind of system would be most cost efficient.

This would be no different than any SFH. The previous comment about window units is not a good idea. People that rent window units and are happy are not the type you want to deal with in short term.
