Based on my investigation and his ring door bell it being connected to the internet I came to the conclusion he has already moved out. ( I knew his family left already) called the agent and he told me what I already knew but told me that he’s setting up a short sale but I don’t think it’s gonna be approved because the property is worth more than he was last asking for.

I think there's nothing like "ground truth" and there's only so much you can find on the internet.- Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, before making an offer, I ask to see the rental history (where vacancies appear as missing income).
