It's old, needs to be painted, a metal pitched roof over it and looks bad.

Thanks for your reply. 1 out of the three units is vacant, the other two are occupied with long term tenants. the vacant unit needs paint and minimal cosmetic work.

The attendees are just wanting to get it done, adn are on the cell phones, texting, checking e-mail, doodling, doing nails...and the instructors are just giving the answers that will be on the test.Obviously this is painting it all with a broad stroke, but I think you get my point.

I'd be interested in hearing about how other tenant rep brokers organize their day AND tips/tricks and stories about canvassing for clients, especially in downtown office buildings.

Two tips for helping you get started: 1.)

I'm thinking a good power washing, painting the shutters and doors, maybe a railing around the porch and some landscaping will be enough to make it stand out.

I was just in the process of streamlining the painting process (when it comes anyway), so I started doing what J Scott does and gathering a list of paints I like.

I really appreciate the helpful tips so far and am looking to attend a local REI club as early as I can.

The house has been demo'ed, sheet rock has been patched and compounded, we started painting the second floor, rewired the electric in the bathroom/ master BR, and the list goes on.

I seen a $7000 MH that need fixing and a $8000 just need painting.
