It would be almost as if I was managing an AirBnb for her with the intent to lease... a step below a rent to own structure.I know this all sounds like crap to you big fish out there, but I am starting small and using any avenue I can to get my pieces out of Start and play the game!

The Illinois Real Estate Investors Association is having their Vendor Fair and Fish Fry tomorrow night!

I've run and operated 2 AirBnB's in NYC, not sure about Dallas market but I do know that it is a positive legislative environment for AirBnB. 

But at the end of the day spiders etc are part of our environment and if they want to get in they will...not much that can be done permanently about that.  

You cannot catch a fish without a line in the water.

Fortunately, we have a place to go to temporarily, but it is going to be hard on the dogs because it will be a kennel environment which they are not used to.  

However, if it is a higher-end environment you could upgrade the oven to get rid of the coils and a nicer looking sink and faucet.  

Adding in that I worked in a horrible environment with a bunch of a-holes as co-workers, and it made my decision easier, no doubt.

I am a nobody, a minnow in an ocean of really big fish, mostly by design, but I'm at least open minded enough to think that maybe there is something to be learned from those really big whales.Which brings me back to my original question ... why is it so expensive here?

Selling outright and paying the taxes in today's high income tax rate environment is really painful.
