The inspection tag along is a good tip.

I am having an home inspection done tomorrow and would appreciate any feedback that BP members could give me.

Madison Place has a draw for its walkability to Mariemont square, and in many places is much closer to the square than most of Mariemont.

Do I need to get an inspection?

I've given my offer and the owner has come back with a counteroffer of the same price but with no inspection.

@Andrey Keller  If you want to invest closer to home, set your sight on Plymouth, Bristol and Norfolk counties. 

Often people are closer to retirement and are happy to have zero loan payments, just cash flow and real estate to pass on to their heirs (hello, stepped up tax basis).
