I think finding like-minded investors that have nothing to sell will be more beneficial in long run. 

It's set to open in 2026 - I think that will be big for that area and short-term rentals.

Just wondering what other people here think of the area and if you would invest in Brownsville.

The reason is private money to almost every borrower means some individual not in the bizz of loaning money and might be happier with lower rates or points Just like the OP is thinking..

Currently I like the idea of having long term rentals for my future, but I really enjoy managing my place and think that I would enjoy doing property management as I would get to help others make money and help find a home for future residents.

I'm thinking of adjusting my ranges to 68-78, and updating the scheduler to revert the range to 72-74 a couple times a day.
