My introduction as a new investor
Hello world, my name is Jonathan and I am 28. Like most of you am eager, excited, and trilled to be in the world of real estate. I have little knowledge, but actively am studying and reading each day, but I do love what I have learned thus far. I am a beginner investor, I started off house hacking but due to my occupation I had to move and now that is being used as a long term rental. I know the world of real estate is vast and still trying to find my passion. Currently I like the idea of having long term rentals for my future, but I really enjoy managing my place and think that I would enjoy doing property management as I would get to help others make money and help find a home for future residents. That is just a little about what is in my head. Currently on the road to getting my real estate license but any advice/ recommendations along the way will always be appreciated. Or at the very least some positive feedback/ vote of confidence because this road is extremely overwhelming and very pressured to quit or slow down. (the negative talk is the source of the pressure.) I'm prone to giving up when things are hard but looking to dive in and give this my all! thanks

@Jonathan Timm there's nothing wrong with slow and steady!
In regards to starting a property management company, I think it's a great idea if you enjoy it--- but first, I would make sure all of your systems are on point and you learn everything you can about this avenue. I see that your location is Hawaii, I'm guessing the short term rental market is awesome there, so perhaps you could be an in person, boots on the ground for investors on that front. Another thing I'd highly recommend is talking to property managers on BP to get some feedback-- it's probably very rewarding and can produce income without many starting costs, but it does come with headaches.
By thinking about your next steps, you're already on the right track. Keep it up!
