I am in Indiana as well, in our situation, it did not make any difference on our taxes if we left it in our personal name or transferred into an LLC. 

Personally I refuse to deal with any of the large banks, (Wells, BofA, Chase) and prefer to deal with smaller regional banks or credit unions.

If a person is already investing in the U.S. and then invests overseas they dilute their cross leveraging potential.  

,My stable consists of:1982 Mercedes-Benz 300D Turbodiesel - 27mpg regularly, few repairs, 192k miles, low insurance1998 Mercury Mountaineer, 16mpg, reliable so far. 130k miles2001 Mercedes-Benz E320 21mpg, reliable, 115k miles.My personal favorite is the 82; my costs are so low and it keeps me from speeding.

I had hoped this land could be both my personal home and an investment but after being there some time the sound pollution is too much for me.
