I've been hanging around Biggerpockets for maybe a month now, watched/listened to a whole bunch of podcasts, YouTube videos, even bought the Ultimate Beginners Guide and and making my way through that. 

In this game, you need to monetize absolutely every lead to the max.

I have been reading and watching videos constantly day in and out lol but I’m kinda stuck now on where to begin.

That individual played video games and smoked in the apartment (there is no smoking allowed in the building).

If anyone has any recommendations  on videos or books that would help me get started I appreciate It! 

But the name of the game is listings.

Cameras can be a good deterence, but it can be really hard to actually find anything on the recorded video footage unless you have a pretty narrow window of time.
