@Ryan StoverAs a California resident who invests in Texas, you will be required to file a CA resident tax return.Since there is no individual income tax in Texas, you don't have to file a non-resident return with TX.If you create an LLC, you will be required to file an LLC tax return with CA and TX.There is some benefit though.
