Not a race, it's a marathon. 

Both my wife and I are ready for this journey and are tired of renting and being stuck in the rat race.

But then they turn around and get a landscaping company to do it for $350 pocketing the $150.The management company has in-house mowers but they are not the ones mowing each week.

If I moved back to Ohio, got a regular W2 job it would just be a matter of time before I closed on a duplex or 4-unit and off to the races I go.

Man you are off to the races.

In addition to the great advice provided already I'd just remind you that being an investor is a journey and not a race.

This is not a race but a marathon.

So to touch on the subject of my post, I got to mow the grass at my duplex and cut down 5 foot tall weeds, because my mower has apparently not shown up and I got a call from the chief of police on Friday, yay!

They're having the same mental health crisis that's hitting the Zoomers, but rather than culturally induced madness, it's the complete lack of anything resembling a reasonable opportunity that's causing a lot of Chinese youth to basically drop out of the rat race.
