Just getting started
First of the year my goal was to understand more about real-estate investing and purchase at least on property if not two by years end. I am lucky to have two mentors with at least 14 properties that I can run numbers off of. On March 30th, I purchased my first of what would end up being 10 books from the bigger pockets book store on how to BRRRR, finance and manage these properties that I was planning on purchasing. I started with a $100K HELOC on my house and made several offers. Last week I closed on my first house and rehab began today. I have accepted offers on 3 more house and will close on them in the next 3-4 weeks. Have met with a great realtor, property manager and contractor that I will work with on all four of these properties. All three will cash flow over $150/month and one of them has garage apartment that I will get an additional $400/month off of. So off to a great start and also want to say I have listened to over 50 podcasts from bigger pockets along my way. Hope to maybe have 10 by end of the year now.
