It's better than Compton, and I think it is improving, but lots of section 8, lots of late payment renters, lots of people on "disability" and you frequently smell the odor of very strong marijuana in the air.I bought here because It was affordable (for CA), I don't feel unsafe in the area, and I really think the area will improve because it is in a very advantageous location geographically.It isn't hard at all to get renters, but their quality is generally low (credit issues, potential section 8). 

The entire basement and the master were used to grow marijuana.

Lots of marijuana grows in the area.

On a side note, Reading PA should be developing a casino in the near future and the legalization of medical marijuana will be in full effect by July 2018 (according to my physician).

That being said, marijuana is going to be legal for recreational use in my State in about 21 days. 

After she got denied she made up that she smelled marijuana in unit which is forsure a lie as no one had even been in unit for over 36 hours.
