@Rachel Trimble  it is expensive to move kitchens around but a living room is just a tv wall mount.  

Also, they were the only manufacturer I saw that offers a 10 year warranty on both the motor and the basket for their washers.

Aluminum bends easily for budding judo experts on a typical swinging crossarm mount.

Its also not a big deal to frame a box on the roof to accommodate the exhaust duct or vent and motor.

@Chris Adams We are using copper stubs - basically a long 90 with an integrated mounting flange - through the drywall on all our supply rough-ins.  

Around here, people will put a post in a 5 gallon bucket and pour cement around it and mount the mail box on the post until the ground thaws.

Sometimes the mounting points on the jamb and door slab are shot.Check the rough opening size and see if it is readily available off the shelf.
