Governors who think taxing citizens and corporations is a good long-term strategy are often sorely mistaken.

It describes the new laws Governor Baker signed into law regarding short term rentals:Today Governor Baker signed into law a bill regulating and taxing short-term rentals.

The Philadelphia Police came and shut him down stating a neighbor called the police to complain about him violating the the governor's order.

Now if the new governor jacks up taxes even more, that may swing a little bit back to the middle given how we're about taxed out here.I actually believe now is the absolute best time to be buying sfh's - at least here in illinois.

As for the crime problem, House Bill 163 passed about a week ago and waiting for governor's signature, will negatively effect policing and crime rates in the whole state of Illinois.

Watching the news, Maryland stopped evictions and utilities cant turn off service during this virus event . This inclludes phone and internet , water , electric and exictions  AND there are to be no late charge fees . 

So far I haven't had any claims on it yet, but I may have one coming if the Michigan Governor keeps lawn care companies from working for the foreseeable future.

Does the governor do anything to promote industry and attract business...no?
