In general, a real estate licence is a waste of time unless you want to do deals for other people.

I am a licenced fire protection engineer and have recently noticed an uptick in such a transition - from office space to residential.

From what I can tell they are part of the MLS, which would mean that I need a real estate licence to access them, something that I don't have.Also, I presume you are the owner of platinumplacerealty.com.

To the average "investor" they believe it to be materials and direct labor , they dont even consider insurances , licence fees , and all the other overhead that has to be paid .

My question is it better to work with an agent making offers or should I just get my salesperson licence?
