A casino is coming to our town, I already bought a quirky round house and a triplex to do medium and short term stays.My daughter has a thriving flower business in the shop downtown.  

Though it's quiet and well-kept and you feel very much "in the woods" while there, you are 10 minutes from shopping outlets, highways, and the Kalahari Water Park and 20 minutes from three ski resorts and a casino. 

It is neglectful and dangerous to direct all to step into a casino and risk it all, because a very few will win. 

The city has just been approved for a new casino and a 500+ unit hotel, which will start to revitalize the city, not completely, but it’s a start

Las Vegas has a lot of booms and busts and is headed for a struggle currently with the casino and hospitality industry.

@Christopher Vargas South up on Las Vegas Blvd has a lot of new development with many amenities near by: bus lines, shuttles, grocery stores, newer local casino with bowling, movies, restaurants.

Vegas travel was put to a screaming gault but now has picked back up quite a bit,most casinos are open but some like the mgm park planet holly wood and tropicana are still shut down. 

I think putting a bullet train connecting Chicago to Milwaukee could have been a game changer, along with building that Casino in Kenosha which would have paid for the Bucks new Arena in Milwaukee... but that didn't happen :( But yeah, my post was more of a focus on Racine being a solid spot for companies to grow and manufacture.  

In the long run the house (insurance companies and casinos) always win.

I bought that bare land in 95 for 27k and sold in Jan for 1.9million to a developer.. its across the street from the Graton Casino.. it was unbuildable when I bought it that's why it was so cheap but Path of progress caught up to us..
