If you were given an opportunity to have your first military assignment at your first choice location or a States-side assignment to immediately start REI with house-hacking using a VA loan, which would you choose?

Dear all,As I have to make a career decision within the next months i need a career advice...My goal: fix & flip and then buy-and-hold residential RE as a private investor / in a JV in the german residential RE market.

In my opinion, a flip was the next step in my "investing career."

Like most of us, my conception of one's career most of my life thus far was pretty plain vanilla - work hard, grow your W-2, and save the max possible in your retirement account.

What other careers can I pursue with a license.

So If i put 30% down on a rental I am going to obviously cash flow more, and get more $ of the payment going to equity in my home.In my current career I make enough where it would make more sense for me to focus more time and energy in making more income at work, than hunting non-stop at this time for a 25% down rental.All that being said, I am happy paying 30% down to get a rental that will cashflow more.
