I was looking to get into a deal pronto, we were supposed to close on 12/18/15 and this isn't happening, since I was using a FHA 203k loan and these guys don't show in a picture yet. 

Lets take home equity loans and contract selling contingencies out of the picture. 

and "OMG the fed raised the overnight rate and now the investment world is going to drown again like it was 2008" Both are great topics for discussion, but you could easily join one of the existing dozen that someone else already created.For people new to the site, and maybe new to discussion boards all together, please use the search button in the upper right (next to your picture) to search for the topic you want to get info or discuss.

Apart from the podcasts and forum posts here, I'd definitely recommend subscribing to some online publications to get a sense of the market as a whole, and in your local area like the Canadian Real Estate Newsletter(It's a very shallow picture, but will allow you to begin learning about the world of Canadian REI). 

What color and brand is your favorite and if you a picture to go with it even better?!

I include pictures of items in very poor condition to show how hard it might be to sell the house over time and wait it out for another offer, the spreadsheet of total costs and put them in a tidy PDF along with the offer.
