New Member!!

Hello everybody!

I am a new member to the bigger pockets community but have been reading and listening to BP material for a number of months now.  My professional background is in nursing and I continue to work as a registered nurse part time.  I have always been interested in working with and helping people and creating meaningful relationships.  I am very excited to start my real estate investing career and get closer to creating financial freedom.  I am currently living in Vancouver but have recently moved from Edmonton.  I know that building a portfolio in the lower mainland wont be the easiest of tasks but I am up for a challenge!

Currently seeking to be a sponge and fill my brain with all of the knowledge I can about real estate investing,  more specifically buy and hold rental properties.  I am signed up for a couple local meetups for January 2016 and am ready to start the year with a bang!

welcome Madison.. I think many/most of the concepts on most strategies from flips to buy and holds apply generally across the border, and there are even forum(s) on some specifics on canadaian topics and areas....best of luck
