She sent me a retainer agreement and in that she listed the service she will provide which is as follows:"The legal services include the review of the contract of sale and any amendments to the contract, preparation for closing including obtaining necessary title work, preparation and review of closing documents, representation at the closing, recording of documents and obtaining the title policy for the buyer."

I'm trying to obtain a list of non owner occupant properties, or lis pendens.I've been to THREE different court houses trying to get these, and every single person I've talked to looks at me like I'm crazy and says there is no way they can put together a list for me.

I hope they aren't considering EM as consideration.And while I am not an attorney I am not sure how a C&D can prevent someone from applying for and obtaining a license/certification, I would think that there would be an issue with the presumption of guilt without having been formally investigated, charged and found in violation or guilty.

My other option since I have my brokers license would be to work for myself out of my home using online resources and future contacts to obtain exclusive listings and reach out to potential clients.
