I use granite for counters because it's almost as cheap as linoleum and it lasts forever, I have been doing tile and 50 year laminate floors everywhere but the bedrooms, they get carpet.

Many investors that buy rentals think when they buy them its like a marriage its forever.. then something happens either they get burned out landlord syndrome.. or other personal issues and a sale is needed.. they are on their own.. the Turn key company cannot afford to sell the properties at RE commish rates they would go broke plus a lot of them are not licensed to do so and its not their business..
