It depends on what your policy states.Most of my clients who have had total losses(max policy payout) will get paid directly and general contract the rehab or sell as is.  

@Jessica HuntIf you are a regular "employee" of the business then you do not need a license.However, doesn't mean you won't run into any issues.Property management has a lot of risk when it comes to things like fair housing laws, which is why you normally have to be broker or be a salesperson under direct supervision of a broker.

Hi, can someone please point me in the right direction to get started with a self directed IRA?

I'm visiting family in Albemarle North Carolina and wanted to know who in the area could steer me in the right direction on potential flips in the area.

Can I set up a self-directed IRA to loan money to an LLC in which I am the sole managing member?
