This is such and awesome platform for learning and networking. 

Crowdfunding, or crowd investing, could allow you to earn above-average ROI and diversify your portfolio among non-local investments, in addition to your efforts in the Central Valley, and without having to devote as much time to due diligence.If you go this route, make sure the platform(s) you choose have a solid track record in real estate investing and technology, and do thorough diligence on all of their deals. 

The number of inspections vary depending upon scope of work), so I started building the platform including the comps, ROM construction cost estimate and schedule templates, bid and contract packages, etc.

I'd like to buy a duplex or triplex and be able to rehab and potentially sell for a profit within a couple years assuming a decent rate of appreciation.

The search platforms in the upper right will let you do drill down searches to see how others have advertised. 

I have done investing through Patch of Land and other crowdfunding platforms.

I think this feedback may be helpful for platforms looking to source projects for investors.  

There seems to be a lot of very experienced investors on this platform.

That being said I have decent real estate and construction experience.
