Many investors on this site are using "finance hacks," (some simple and some complex) that have helped them build their real estate portfolios as well as their wealth.  

That's true, but the more you get involved with real estate you'll harken back to subjects that you thought were a waste of time.The big, big plus once you become an agent is you get unfettered access to the mls and the rpr resource.

And yes than look up property records on county sites and due internet searches to try and track down homeowners.

I hear about it all the time but haven't found a great resource in Pittsburgh, PA.
