Is there an easier way than learning the census borough's software to do market research on states and cities? 

Does any real estate software or listing service let you enter multiple addresses to search for at one time (to see if any are For Sale)?

You just need to be in a trade or business to start writing off items.For proper record keeping, I suggest the following steps1) Save receipts to a digital space(Dropbox, Google drive, Apple drive, etc)2) Proper record keeping in an accounting software(Quickbooks, Stessa, Xero or Excel).3) Properly show expenses on proper forms in tax return.
