I encourage all my clients to get the address changed on their driver's license as soon as them move in to the property.

Our city has a Downtown Development Authority in place to encourage these types of projects, and the university near my desired location recently added new and bigger dormotories and added a new student center, so I'm sure they've upgraded surrounding utilities for those projects. 

They have a simple list of the kinds of things you should spend money on if your goal is happiness:Buy ExperiencesMake it a TreatBuy TimePay Now, Consume LaterInvest in OthersThe second is about the development of iPhones, iPads (actually developed before the iPhone), and Android phones and all the interactions between Google and Apple while this was happening.

Just to encourage discussion, what do you all think of getting your real estate license to get in the field?

The forums are a great place to interact with some of the most experienced investors out there.

But I've been encouraging local investors to post in this thread so it will be easier for me to update everyone when we do our next meetup!
