Hello,I'm researching information on the process of attracting a national retail tenant on a 4 story brownstone in midtown Manhattan.It would be a ground floor commercial space, approximately 1,000 SF with a small outdoor area in the rear.The space is currently occupied by a dry cleaner.

We supply literally everything they would need to live (dinnerware, furniture, cable, internet and all utilities), except a bed. 

No pool, so added other unique and fun things in the yard - large screened porch with dining table and lounge area, Gazebo, lawn games, putting green, outdoor shower made out of an old surfboard.

There was not a single piece of furniture or box in the apartment.

I am looking for a new vehicle that I can use for construction projects, and also outdoor activities in Minnesota-- hunting, fishing, hauling kayaks..For my business, I usually redo the unit once I buy it, and always find myself needing to carry more tools than my little car will allow!

But if you live far away from your STR / Airbnb / VRBO property, how do you deal with practicalities like occasionally replacing furniture?

We went to fix it and discovered the cleaners were cleaning well but not putting furniture back where it belonged.

Remove covid pressures and the underlying figures are still enough to drive interest here - relative job growth, stable state government, beauty/outdoors, proximity to those fleeing the West Coast.If you want to optimize cash-flow and are able to invest in other markets, there are much better alternatives for that.
