I don't reside in  Florida(but visit often) so I'd need the assistance of   a credible realtor or  savy investor to iron out the details .

I'm from Bibb County, Alabama, but currently visiting Geneva, Illinois.

It may sound nice to pay a 5% management fee but the extra fees can add up to be more than the other company that charges 10% with no add-on fees.

If everything moves forward, then visit when the work is being done or when it is done to make sure all is good, and if you are unhappy you should have the opportunity to end your pm contract and find a new one.However, did you say you only have the property under contract, and you don't own it yet? 

I may not have been able to get the house, but it would have been nice to have tried. 

My husband and I live in California, but are looking to invest in our first property within the next year in the Rochester area (specifically a nice suburb like Pittsburg or Henrietta, as my husband attended RIT).

It would be nice if I wasn't stuck with this guy for a year.
