OK, you're gonna wanna develop a little rapport with your seller, 'cause you're gonna want to negotiate.

I think it's great that you are meeting up with the sellers to gain experience in negotiations and knowledge on how to compose a deal!  

I am looking for a CA Real Estate Agent that has documented experience in negotiating short sales.

What would you try to negotiate with the sellers?

You sign a promissory note promising to pay seller at terms negotiated and give the seller a mortgage on the property to secure your promise to pay the note.

Does anybody have any advice on negotiating a reduced payoff of a 2nd mortgage.    

Whoever was handling the short sale either dropped the ball, or couldn't negotiate a settlement satisfactory to the hoa.

And negotiate the best deals for you and your clients.
