If you had $17 and the clothes on your back, I am willing to bet it wouldn't matter 1 drop what anyone said of how it "can't" be done, because failure is NOT an option at that point, the next meal depends on it, where you next lay your head depends on it, because you MUST find, make or build a way to how it can and does work.

Added a custom made tiled bench for the entry way and tiled the floor. 2 updated and upgraded bathrooms with main bathroom getting granite countertop.

Not sure about the housing stock in your area, but in AZ, homes built in the last 30 years tend to have the least amount of work needed because they are built with stucco walls and concrete tile roofs that last a really long time.

Downstairs is all concrete floors so there would not be very much prep to lay down either laminate or LVP.
