How much does it cost to put up a new Bathroom in the basement?
I want to put up a new bathroom in my basement. How much does it usually cost for a basic bathroom setup?

Tub vs shower pan doesn't change the overall cost much for me. I'd opt for a tub if I have the room. Tile surround, ceramic tile floor. Nicer looking builder grade materials. No ejector pump. These houses are on public sewer. I honestly don't pay much attention to the cost per square foot of the floor since it's generally such a small area. It's the labor that makes up most of the cost for me on putting these in.

@Jon Kessler what level of finish are you installing? Ie tile tub surround, $/sf floor, high end vanity with stone top or builder grade with cultured marble? Do you typically have to put a sewage ejector pump in as well?
