My question is, I have never started let alone close on a real estate deal, like I said I just started learning (I started investing in stocks in January and in July I encouraged myself to learn about real estate) about this so I know I need more practice on "running the numbers" on a property (the calculators here are great help though) so is it too soon to start with an investment?   

I just joined Houston Multi-Family (Apartments) & Houses /Investor Mentor Meetup group; they have weekly zoom meetings where they encourage interaction amongst members, and are generous with their time and assistance.

@Algie Horton - I agree with @Chris Bounds, I always encourage people to get their real estate broker license.

Northern Illinois always makes me want to encourage people move just a bit north to Southern, WI.

Our case keeps getting punted or small conferences between the judge and attorneys happens to try and encourage settlement.Again, to this day they will not settle and are demanding $30k plus additional fees now too.This stupid case has given me endless heartburn over the years and I simply want to be done I think.What should I do here?

It may have been good for a short term but by extending it to January I believe may encourage people to keep getting the benefits instead of going back to work.
