Hey Julie -Most areas converted from aluminum to copper by the 70s, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to confirm that there is aluminum wiring in the house (you might be pleasantly surprised).In fact, if you're new to rehabbing (if you've done fewer than 3 or 4 houses), I would highly recommend an inspection.
