Rooming houses tend to have certain populations attracted to them.This is where many of the patients I have dealt with have lived.

You only have to resolve that conflict to your own satisfaction.

I almost quit, but I couldn't give the *** the satisfaction...I am full-time in RE.  

But the situation is terminal now, the patient is in ICU on life support, so to speak, with no signs of recovery.

It may sting at first, but it will only be a short setback and you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you and your new wife are satisfying your agreed upon debts as promised. 

During that time maintain a frugal life style, stay single, study investing, cultivate relationships with like minded individuals and be patient.
