It certainly doesn't hurt to walk into banks and speak with them about your plans and listen to what they say (that's part of how you develop relationships with bankers), but I'm not optimistic that a bank loan is in the cards just yet.In my market in Northeastern PA (Scranton - Wilkes Barre), there are plenty of sellers who will hold a note with a decent down payment, easily for one year but sometimes up to 5 years.  

Once I get my business cards and post cards, I will print out flyers to place on people cars at places like Lowe's and Home Depot.

Also, with the reno, our credit took a hit (we put a lot of the costs on credit cards that we are paying down now) so we qualified for something around the range of 4.5-4.75% with a 30 year.

Hey everyone, what is simply the best and most strategic way to pay off your credit card?

Obviously they're not as motivated but they definitely want to sell since they answered my direct mail post cards.

Below are my concerns:1)Since I did not meet the time frame A.com set forth can they take the $2,500.00 I had to put up on my credit card in order to bid on this home?
