Hopefully the daughter is mature enough to see the condition of her mom's mental state (not in denial) and help in getting her to a more appropriate dwelling.Whatever you do, DON'T GIVE UP!!!  

Both real estate agents  as well as my wife and I are starting to question her mental health some. 

The offer should also state that any items left in the unit once they move out and receive the money is considered trash.Be mentally ready for the "worst"....as in, it might take longer than you want for them to move.

Their mentality was to go to court rather than just leave the property.

I really don't understand the mob mentality gang-up going on here against charging these tenants what they agreed to pay.  

IMHO, stop feeding the entitlement mentality.

You need to understand the mentality of tenants.

If a property manager sits waiting to go handle every single issue, then there will be this self entitlement mentality, and the tenants will call for every little thing; or if the tenants come into the rental thinking that we will do everything for them on a beckoning call, then there is some training that needs to be done.

But, this is first and foremost a business relationship of necessity, and a bit of a survival-of-the-fittest mentality.
