But emotions are not always the best decision makers.

But, regardless, now is the time when I'm financially and emotionally ready to jump in, and now is the time I have. 

It was between myself and anther bidder or two, but I wasn't caught up in the emotion or noise of the moment.

Overall, this is a good way to turn a short-term tenancy into a long-term relationship that should keep you occupied for a good long time. ...AND they understand annual cost of living increases from a business standpoint not an emotional standpoint of a tenant!

With that said, I have been involved in commercial construction and property management for a considerable amount of time (decades), so I have a lot of background knowledge to rely on.With residential, things are pretty simple since it is much more of an emotional buy in many cases.  

So don't get too emotional along the process when something can and does go the other way... these are low odds deals unfortunately... good luck!

Some people put a lot of emotional value into a home, and if you tell them why their house is awful, they may never sell to you at any price.

It seems simple, but i know losing your home has an emotional attachment to it.

This is a hard one for me at times, but do not let your emotions get tied up in the deal.Hope this helps.
