A good place to start would be Crowd Street where you can look at 20 or 30 different deals, and start to get an idea of the variety, as well as come up with your own method of due diligence that takes into account your own unique risk tolerance, financial situation, and financial goals.

Most will likely fail while attempting it, most fail with the majority of things they attempt in life for a variety or reasons.
