At the least we can trade stories. 

(long story - short) I am looking for a lender that I can work with even if this works out, I plan to do more purchasing and I would like to be able to bypass these issues.Thanks again.Jack

Being new, we would love to learn a thing or two from others in the area (different strategies, success stories in specific areas, etc).

With more challenges to conventional lending, a lower median income than Anchorage, and a little uncertainty in terms of taxation, staying in a rental might have it's appeal for awhile.I remember the decline from the eighties, this is not the same story.  

It really inspired me and he told me he could try to get me started as long as I do MY PART and acquire knowledge.He invited me to attend my first auction so I can see how everything works....Bottom line guys/girls, I want to be successful in this business.

Back Story:   I purchased a very nice Duplex 10 years ago.

It has absolutely catapulted my career in real estate and I get energized and inspired by the community and podcasts!

I've been listening to the podcasts for about a month- so inspiring.

@Evan ManshipI totally agree that success comes to those who work hard, and your story sounds like an excellent example of the same.

Very interesting topic and inspirational, I am newbe and at the phase that I had read enough books and listen to podcasts and attend local meet ups that I feel now I am hitting a Plato that need start my next level and that is looking at MLS and start analyzing deals, I know finding good deals from MLS is hard but at least it will give me the vision of the numbers.
