Hi everyone,

My name is Cameron and I just recently moved to Jacksonville, FL from Phoenix, AZ. The wife and I wanted a new change of scenery and we know a part time investor (does most of his investing out of state, however) in the area that pulled us to this area. We both love Real Estate and find REI very intriguing. We project managed and did some of the labor for the investor on a flip as soon as we got here. It was a great learning experience and we want to continue to grow and build a team as we look to do some investing on our own.

Being new, we would love to learn a thing or two from others in the area (different strategies, success stories in specific areas, etc). I'm most interested in flipping homes. I'm doing research daily to get to know the city better and more specifically the local area I live in.

One question I keep having a hard time answering myself is, will getting my Real Estate license benefit me in investing? I feel I have a good idea of the pros and cons but I'd love to hear from others what their thoughts are on it.

Thanks everyone!

Cameron
