We are hoping to continue growing our real estate portfolio through multi-family homes and possibly a few single family homes in the Buffalo area. 

He is allowing me access to the MLS thru him but I’m uncertain what data is best to have in order analyze comps/potential deals.Here are some things I plan on asking:-Comps in my target area-Hot ZonesThings I’m unsure on:-What data I should prioritize without having a subject property to allow me to find potential deals-should I continually check in with him to record update data?

If you can save the carpet for now, then clean it up.Agree with getting rid of any thing that may have personal "style" to it....curtains or other decorations etc....you want tit neutral to appeal to as many people as possible

Also, longer-term, the net proceeds from this deal will fund future deals and better cost of funds on those deals, which done right will help me continue to beat 401k returns. 

I think it would be best to continue improving my credit while shopping the investment plan to friends and family.

The real strategy to financial freedom and wealth building happens in tandem with continuous knowledge building.

However, having said that, I have continuously explored the site and I have familiarized myself, to the best of my ability, with the beginner's guide. 

if that doesn't get me anywhere in the DFW, then my other option would be to buy a live-in flip and continue to save until I can get into a fourplex.putting 20% down, puts me in a sub 180k range to get to a 1K mortgage included taxes.I hear one can get a fourplex FHA loan, with as little as 15% down, but I don't think it would be good to be that leveraged on it to start with.Thought?
