New Investor Introduction

Khristopher Burford

Posted

Good Afternoon everyone,

My name is Khristopher Burford, and I'm 21 years old. I've been a member of BP for quite some time (almost a year) but I just never got around to posting an introduction; this is my first post. However, having said that, I have continuously explored the site and I have familiarized myself, to the best of my ability, with the beginner's guide. I have aspirations to be a part time real estate investor, mostly for passive income, but I am not opposed to potentially making it a full-time endeavor sometime in the future. I am also open to the possibility of getting a real estate license.

I live in San Clemente, Ca. I have been in contact with an investor's club in nearby Riverside for quite some time, but I still haven't yet decided if I should join their group or not. The price they're asking is a pretty big initial commitment at first, especially for someone who's just starting out. I have virtually no experience in real estate, business, or finance. The only real experience I have is the Beginner's Guide and a couple of contacts within the aforementioned investor's club. I am not originally from California, but I live here now due to my job and I figured I should try to learn as much as I can while I am here. I am originally from the East Coast, and hopefully can take whatever skills I learn here, and apply them back home whenever/IF I move back.

This (REI) is something I've always wanted to do, but as I said, I just don't have any experience and I'm not quite sure where to start. I'm mostly just looking for some guidance.

Thanks for reading my post.
