It does work to get the appraiser on the side of being willing to change the report, though.The appraiser might not want to hear it, so you could get another appraisal yourself and present that to the lender.I hope that gives you some idea on how to proceed, based on the facts you provided.Oh, and if you want bonus points, I would not contact the appraiser directly.
